Széchenyi István University providing a quality gaming environment for E-sport students

E-sports are becoming popular and the Széchenyi István University is taking seriously by establishing an E-sports association and providing a seperate department of studies for the lovers of this new major. Now students can practice and develop their skills in a modern hall where they are also mandated to complete their physical education program, also an important part of the department’s curriculum.

The Széchenyi István University is dynamic and open for new ideas and areas of study and interests. It is aspires to satisfy students needs for sports on a higher learning level too. The establishment of an E-sports association, SZESE and the creation of the E-sports department 4 years ago is running very well and evolving year to year.

” We’ve experienced that this new sport is attracting a lot of young people and this is the reason why we sided with the idea and initated a separate competition program system with the Hungarian University-College Sports association. Within the program, students can also complete their mandatory physical education requirement with E-sport. The activity requires serious mental and physical stamina and it’s not a surprise to know those that that compete in E-sports are also training by undertaking physical exersises in addition to E-sport as the combination enchances their capabilites significantly and provides an effective and efficient recipe for the student’s success.”

The department makes it possible to properly prepare for tournaments and also gain experience as a beginner.

For those of you are curious about the department, meaning not only students but anyone else, you are welcome to come play a game of FIFA, Valorant, League of Legends and Rocket League to mention a few.
